WOW WOW WOW! 

Thank you so much for the most incredible night - not just for us, but for all of our friends and family. We are still recovering from all of the dancing, and we'll have memories to last a lifetime. Please share our thanks with the entire band. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our guests have been raving about it since we left the dance floor. 

I could go on and on, but know that we are incredibly grateful for all that you did to make it a special night for us. 

The highlight of the night was the INCREDIBLE band.

We cannot say enough good things about you and the amazing Black and Blue Band!!! You guys were incredible for our wedding and we could not have been happier with the experience. It was absolutely perfect for New Years' Eve and your crew did a fabulous job reading the crowd throughout the night to play the hits we wanted to hear. We love that your incorporated the wedding party on stage and let us have a ton of fun up there as well! Please pass along our compliments to the entire band, they are truly awesome!

Black and Blue was fantastic!! We had a very challenging crowd-- half were fairly elderly, the other half were in their 20's. (We also had a guest who is an aspiring Elvis artist who requested to sing!) The band did their absolute best to read the audience and be flexible to keep everyone engaged. Their energy and inclusiveness made the night. We heard nothing but raves from the guests.

Truly unbelievable!!! Party rocked entire time!!! I asked Bobby to not take late break because of fear of losing people. Well... They didn't and it was wild! Bobby even said that it was one of the BEST RECEPTIONS THEY HAVE PLAYED FOR EVER! My brother in law sings and he brought the house down with Georgia on my Mind!! Then his son who is also incredible, and looks like a model, sang Frank Sinatra!!! People were going crazy! 

Thanks very much for your help in making my only daughter's wedding very very special. She was a beautiful bride and I was the proudest dad on the planet Saturday night!!! What an unforgettable weekend!!!

WOW WOW you & your band were the hit of our wedding reception!!  We have heard it over & over again how great the band was & how you kept the party rolling!!  We could not have been any happier with your performance.  You were such a pleasure to work with…you were so careful to deliver exactly what we wanted and we appreciate your attention to planning & executing a great night for us.  The girls interacting with the guests, the horn players leading Carson & Parker in & out, and your rhythm section were all fantastic!!  I called Larry immediately & told him that he was spot on when he recommended Black & Blue!

Its almost been a month since our party at the Myers Park Country Club, so I apologize for my delay in sending this email.   But it has been on my mind to follow up with both of you to let you know how thrilled we were with the performance of the Black and Blue Experience.    They did an incredible job, kept everyone dancing and entertained and simply made the party!

And beyond the actual music, it was a pleasure working with Bobby. Thanks Bobby for being so professional and prepared.  It was so helpful to know that you  would do a great job of introducing everyone and keep the party going. That allowed me and my family to just enjoy the evening, and that we did!

WOW! I heard y'all were good,but you absolutely exceeded our expectations! Thank you for a wonderful evening. I expect you will be a regular fixture on the Charleston party scene. The BEST! Hope to see you all soon.

Black and Blue Experience was AMAZING!! So professional, talented, and well rounded. They had our entire membership on the dance floor the whole night. Guests actually were talking about the band around town afterwards because I had Tracy from the Bascom email me to ask “Who was the band for your men’s member guest awards dinner? I have people telling me about how great the band was and that I need to hire them.”

I just wanted to tell you how absolutely fabulous you were at our daughter’s wedding on Saturday night at The Club at Longview!  Everyone has said that you were the best band ever and they had the most fun of any wedding that they have been too!  I absolutely agree.

Everyone was thrilled (and surprised) that you just kept playing straight through – good call on your part! And everyone in the band was spectacular! I’m sorry that I didn’t meet everyone individually, but each was just super.

If you need any sort of recommendation or anything, please let us know. I have to say, the number one thing that we wanted for the whole wedding was a great band that really got everyone dancing, and really engaged the audience and the wedding party, etc.  You totally did that – and it was wonderful. That is what we were looking for when we watched your video initially, and that didn’t really come across that much. But our friend, Rebecca Pressly (you played at her daughter Tucker’s wedding), recommended you and said that this was the best band that we could ever get. I’m so glad we listened to her.

So, thank you again for making our event a wonderful success.  Everything was totally perfect!

Well, they did it again.  Black and Blue outperformed themselves at the Shwedo wedding on Sat, night at CCC.  Just when I thought I would be in all settled in for exactly what to expect, I was blown away by their spectacular performance!  Most importantly, their magic for interacting with the crowd was over the top. Their playlist was to perfection. They can play anything! Ted was at his best as was the entire band.  Greg on bass still captures the heart of every female there with his talent and personable stage presence.  The saxophonist was one of the best I have ever witnessed as were the two new female leads.  Once again, their performance proved that the "music is everything!" And believe me, it was the best part of the evening. People want music they can dance to and this was one of those crowds that responded to everything from Motown to current hits!

Thanks for making it happen for the Shwedo's.  I will continue to refer them to all of my friends! I heard many comments on how kind they were to everyone and so easy to work with!

Sarah and I are now officially married and I want to  again thank you for helping us book “The Black & Blue Experience” as our wedding reception band/entertainment. We could not have been more pleased with our experience with them (from working with Bobby beforehand to the band the day of our wedding). Everyone in attendance was thoroughly impressed and could not say enough nice things about their performance! The musical talent can certainly help make or break a wedding experience and they certainly helped make ours truly special!

Black and Blue was fantastic.  Even the "old" folks stayed late due to their sound and enthusiasm.  It was a good strategy for them to play continuously for 3 hours - without the breaks, the guests never left the dance floor.  

Thank you for your flexibility in the scheduling of the trio for the first 45 minutes - that created an atmosphere that made our guests feel welcome.

I know that several of the guests gave testimonials and please add mine.  The musicians and singers were top notch and well worth the splurge!!!

Our Black and Blue experience was awesome! They had the crowd participating all night and everyone just raved about them. It was a good night! We loved having the saxophonist playing as guest arrived. Truly great all the way around!

As you know we used Black and Blue for my husbands 50th birthday and thought they were amazing, hence we hired them for the wedding.

There is no way to adequately describe, thank, enthuse, gush, carry on or otherwise say how amazing they were this past weekend. We had very high expectations and they exceeded them all! Every single member of their "team" treated us like family, responded to every request, every favor, every change in timing.

I won't even waste your time talking about what fabulous musicians they are (that is a given, of course). The true story of this band is their showmanship, their ability to draw in the crowd and hold it in the palm of their hand! I had the CEO of one of the worlds largest banks ask me how to get in touch with y'all (his son getting married in October ). No one, young or old was immune to the fun! If I had a nickel for every time someone said, "this is the best party I have EVER been to!" I could have, we'll . . . Paid for the band, hahaha (worth EVERY penny)!

We have not had a party in ten years where we did not use your company. There is a reason, even when the event isn't big enough for a band like Black and Blue, you still send us amazing talent.

We were very pleased with them, and they were very accommodating and easy to work with. I felt like I had a good handle on things after a couple of conversations with Bobby Hall. They were fun, and we had a good response from the crowd as far as dancing, etc. we would hire them all over again.

Black and Blue Experience was a blast!!!! We loved how they got the audience involved and got people dancing! We couldn't believe they played for 3 straight hours without a break. We couldn't have asked for a better band. I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

The only thing I can say is oh my gosh...They were f a n t a s t i c. I had heard them before and I believe they had gotten better. If you can believe that. I have heard nothing but good things about the band. I would highly recommend them. People are still talking about them.

We had the most wonderful evening, everything was fabulous. I think the icing on the cake was the Black and Blue Band. They were FABULOUS!! Not only the best music ever, but their interaction with the guest was beyond our expectation. I don’t think there was a person there who did not stop to tell us how much they loved them, from the first song on! I think the best compliment is the fact from the youngest to the oldest, they all said they were the best band.

Absolutely fabulous! So very professional and anxious to see that everyone there enjoyed the music - which they did. We were especially impressed with their professionalism - no drinking, willingness to begin immediately after the live auction - this is an absolute first! It kept the party going between the auction and the music and there was no lull. And of course - their performance rocked! We have heard not one negative word - but it is all over facebook that the band was AWESOME!

Saturday night was amazing! The band (Black and Blue) made our Heart Ball. They are so awesome. Our guests were still dancing at midnight and I think they would have stayed for several more hours if they had the opportunity! I lost count of how many guests asked me to book them again for next year! And the neat thing is that not only are they so talented, but they are so helpful and professional. What a special group of people!

It was amazing... we had a blast and more importantly delegates loved all of it.

It is all over my facebook and eastcoast and the guys are getting tons of kudos- ted passed out tons of cards as I did.

You asked us what we wanted in a band when we booked them and you listened to us...we wanted a band that would play all of the oldies, interact with our guests and get the grandparents on their feet dancing...and boy did Black & Blue have that covered! If I could get in touch with every bride who is planning her reception today, I would tell her to give Black & Blue a close look before she did anything else. They are a perfect band for a fun, classy reception.

My husband and I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the band Black & Blue for an evening that will live on in the memories of our family and friends for years to come. Their professionalism and presentation were outstanding. Their interaction with the audience on stage was fantastic and most courteous and delightful to talk with. No one could stay seated, and some guests insisted they play longer. We would highly recommend Black & Blue for any occasion.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for doing such a great job Saturday night...there were a lot of great comments Monday when I returned to work...you and your people really made everyone feel like a part of the group and they enjoyed the evening. That just tickled me to death!

We cannot thank you enough for coming up to northern Michigan to play for our reception... your band was truly amazing and set the tone for a fun and memorable evening. Just wanted to let you know that Black and Blue's performance on Saturday, May 21st at Grandfather for my friend. The wedding was over the top! I have seen them many times but their energy on Saturday was incredible. It was a great crowd to perform for, but Ted got them going early and not a soul, not even the Grandparents did not remain engaged the entire evening. Its like he knew the perfect timing for this. I have learned, that timing is everything when it comes to the marriage of the artist and the audience to make the perfect evening. ...I am so glad they will be back for the nine o'clocks this Christmas... Both Hester and Sarah were so kind to one of Tucker's (bride) friends who sang in the ceremony. Ted invited her to accompany Sarah on "AT Last" and their friends went crazy.....involving the audience means so much to a crowd, especially one like this one.....proof that Music is everything to the success of any reception!!! Forget the flower budget! Ted is good at reading his crowd...and so are Hester, Sarah and the entire band.

He obviously had added the horns and they were amazing. Yes, I am an avid fan but everyone in the room fell in love with them that evening. I lost count of how many people came up to me and asked me who they were, and where they were from.

George (father of bride) said he definitely got his money's worth....made me feel good for all!

It was great!!! They are soooooooooooo good. Everyone is asking about them. We will use them again. This is the second wedding they have done for us and we couldn't be happier!

Black and Blue was awesome!!!! Ted was a pleasure to work with and the band was outstanding. They played from 7:30 - 11:30 with only one break, when we cut the cake. The band kept the guests engaged and dancing all night. I think most danced the night away. They have a great play list and the female vocals are wonderful. A friend of ours from Connecticut was blown away by the band and is thinking of getting them to play in the near future. Thank you for your help.

Our dance was FANTASTIC!! - in large part due to the band, Black and Blue. The day was cold and rainy - 5.5 inches between 10 am and 1 am - and we appreciated everyone who braved the elements - and those who came loved it according to all the calls and notes I have received. The band played great dance music, but best of all they incorporated the guests in the show. It was a debut party and they brought all the girls up on stage to sing with them and then they had all the dads come up to sing "My Girl" to their daughters. From that point on everyone was rocking! The dance floor was packed and everyone was out dancing and having a great time. The band continued to interact with the dancers and had everyone laughing, dancing and feeling a part of a total experience.Since the party I continue to have people come up to me and say, not just that it was a beautiful party, but that they had more fun that night than they have had in years. One good friend said they danced so much that night they were sore for 3 days. My husband, who dances once at each dance because I won't go home until we do, never came off the dance floor for the last two hours of the party!

Looking at the pictures afterwards, the good time everyone was having is written all over the smiles and excitement in their faces. In addition, my daughter had the time of her life and made the whole debut experience (which she wasn't sure about before) a success. Thank you for helping me find a great band! I enthusiastically recommend Black and Blue to anyone looking for great dance music and a fantastically fun party!

The band was as good as advertised on August 6th for our wedding. I wanted to let you know that we were very pleased and that Bobby was a pleasure to work with.
