WeddingI called Hank, with East Coast Entertainment, to enquire about another band. I told Hank exactly what we were looking for, a high-energy, engaging, and professional band to play at our Wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. I am extremely thankful that Hank suggested Diverse Groove. They were everything we could have ever asked for and much more. We were looking for a band who could play anything from Motown and beach music to current hits. Diverse Groove's playlist is just what their name suggests, diverse. It was a pleasure working with Lamar and the band. We let them have free reign on the song choices for the night, our only objective was to have everyone on the dance floor, and Diverse Groove delivered! They learned the song for our first dance, Otis Reading's "That's How Strong my Love Is," and performed it beautifully. Diverse Groove made our wedding. We had people coming up to us saying that they would have paid a $50 cover to see this band play. LaSonda was great to coordinate with before our wedding - taking the time to go through our set list and helping to coordinate how we wanted our Reception to be MC'd. Lamar was awesome at getting everyone on the dance floor and dancing around. They played the perfect set of music that got each age group at our wedding up and dancing on the dance floor. They even created a special moment for my husband and I where they played a slow Ed Sheeran song and had everyone dance around us. We could not have asked for a better wedding band and our guest agreed (a few inquiring for their 2022/2023 weddings).
Please let me know where else I can provide a great review of this band.

Diverse Groove hit a home run at our wedding reception! It was one of my favorite nights EVER and this band was one of the reasons. Truly. The playlist was perfect and I appreciated that Lamar Brace had a segment for those guests "over 40" and played a few songs from our era...he was being generous becouse our age bracket was more like over 60!!
And the band had to be creative while dealing with the power outage...they stayed calm and kept the fun vibe going. They were AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
This was one of the most memorable nights of our lives. Diverse Groove was amazing and fun. We had a slight power shortage which was easily remediated. The band stayed super cool. This band is THE BEST.
Seriously, one of the best nights of our lives. Diverse Groove was amazing. And we had a brief power shortage and the band handles that issue with class and patience.
The vocals, musicians and road crew were amazing. We loved every minute.
The band was STELLAR.

I have already had people asking for their contact information (which I gave them your info!) Lamar was great! I had told him that Doug was from DC and was a huge Redskins fan and asked for them to play Hail to the Redskins. He not only played the song but put on one of their favorite players jerseys (Lamar happens to be from DC). It was perfect. I have booked a lot of bands and I have heard a lot of bands being an event planner and I honestly could not of been happier. Thank you for giving me some great bands to choose from, you never disappoint!
