GroomThe Excellent Drivers were FANTASTIC. They were exactly what we were looking for during our cocktail hour and reception. The only negative about the day was that since the weather was so nice, many of our guests wanted to stay outside in the sun vs on the dance floor! But my wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the performance.

The Excellent Drivers made our night the best day of our lives. They sounded amazing and my new wife and I have gotten at least 50 responses just saying how great they were from our guests. We could not have been happier with the Excellent Drivers!! They truly made our wedding reception a fun and memorable evening. From doing a great job MC'ing the evening to kindly fulfilling our request to dedicate a special mashup to the mother of the bride, to being flexible as we made COVID adjustments - they really cannot be beaten. WeddingWow, these guys are the real deal! They are consummate professionals, easy to work in all aspects. I can not over emphasize their performance skills—they rocked! They have a great set list that appeals to the entire spectrum of the audience, execute the songs just perfectly, held the room for their entire set, created an atmosphere that encouraged everyone to want to dance, just made for the best party, awesome, thanks! Event PlannerThe Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department was looking for an upbeat, family friendly band for our annual Independence Day Celebration. I am so grateful The Excellent Drivers were available. I could not have asked for anything more! Kelly, Allen, Dave and Sam were professional, responsive and put on a fantastic show. The variety of music they played covered all genres and age groups. The crowd was singing and dancing all night long! Kelly even sang an acoustic version of the National Anthem leading up to our fireworks! I highly recommend them for your event!

BrideYou would be a FOOL to not book these guys for your event. My now husband and I love live music and basically made our entire wedding music themed (had it at a concert venue, decor, etc), so of course we had to pick the perfect band. We spent a lot of time going to see different bands before we landed on Excellent Drivers, and we are SO glad we did. They bring such a fun energy to the stage and are incredibly talented, making awesome covers even more awesome with cool pop/alt rock n roll vibes. The second they came on stage everyone was on the dance floor and didn't leave all night. We are one week post wedding and our guests are still raving to us about how much fun they had dancing to Excellent Drivers all night.
On the back end, they were SO responsive throughout the entire process and so accommodating to which songs we wanted to hear from their list. They even learned a song or two for us and CRUSHED it. They also emcee'ed our wedding and played our ceremony music and cocktail hour playlist from Spotify, which made things seamless and great. Our timeline had some logistical errors and ended up throwing their set off a bit - they handled it so well and made sure we were happy with the end result.
I really can't recommend Excellent Drivers enough - they were even better than I had anticipated and were incredibly affordable for how awesome they are. I wish we could do it all over again but am super pumped that they play at the local bars in our area so we can go relive the awesomeness from time to time. BOOK THEM. You will be SO happy you did.

WeddingThe Excellent Drivers were a HIT. They were so easy to work with and kept the party going all night. Every song they played was a crowd pleaser and they worked with us to make sure all the songs we wanted were played. They also acted as MC for the wedding and that was such a great additional service that they did such a good job with. Would DEFINITELY recommend and will DEFINITELY see them whenever they play around the DC area. Can’t say enough about how awesome they were and how much they made our memorable day that much more amazing.

BrideEveryone was talking about this band the next morning after they played our wedding! Our coordinator even said they were one of the best she had ever seen. The Excellent Drivers made the party come to life! They played two sets and it was perfect. The band gave us an incredible variety of songs to choose from. We picked our favorites but mostly let the band do their thing. They know what songs to play and what order to play them in to keep the party going.
I highly recommend this band! The band also worked with us to carefully play our of all special songs during the evening including the processional, first dances, cake cutting etc. If they couldn't play the song, they had it ready to play over the PA system. The music rocked, everything sounded professional. Excellent Drivers are the perfect wedding band.

GroomA quick note to say a BIG THANK YOU to The Excellent Drivers for a FANTASTIC performance at our Wedding earlier this month at the Carlyle Club in Alexandria, VA! The show was amazing and our 100+ guests LOVED the music! The dance floor was full all night. The set list was spot on and the flow and order of the songs was perfect. The opening songs for each set got rave reviews, especially opening with "Jump" by Van Halen. The dramatic curtain open the first notes added a great element to the show. People are STILL commenting to us on how great you all were - in fact, several said they wanted to take a break from dancing during the music, but the songs were so good they stayed on the dance floor! For anyone reading this who is thinking about having The Excellent Drivers play their event, think no more. Hire them. Now. Dave can give you our 3-hour set list if you like as a starting point. Nice work Kelly, Allen, Dave, and Sam - we'll see you soon in the Arlington area.

BrideWe literally couldn't ask for any more from a band. They were the easiest wedding vendor to work with, and we would book them again in an instant. They were fantastic with communication during the planning stages (laid back, but also totally on top of everything), and professional on the wedding day. We got to help select the songs they would play from their extensive repertoire, which really helped make the wedding represent us as a couple. The dance floor was packed the entire night- even people that never dance were up there having a blast. They read the crowd well and kept the party going. Our guests were so bummed that the music was over that they demanded an encore at the end. The best wedding decision we made, and an extreme bargain for the performance and professional quality.

FestivalSuch a hit with the crowd!
The Excellent Drivers live up to their name! This is the second year in a row we've had them back for our Oktoberfest festival and this time was even more awesome; literally no one was in their seats by the end of the night, everyone gathered around to dance. Dave was super accommodating with all of our requests as well! They're AMAZING, definitely recommend!

GroomThese guys played an AMAZING show for our wedding. We cannot recommend them more highly to anyone looking for a wedding band that will get people dancing and keep people on the dance floor. The band was extremely responsive the many months proceeding the reception and flexible with song choices, setup, etc. They do a really good job of playing a mix of older and newer stuff, rock and pop, but it's all extremely well done. Clearly really talented musicians and singers that put a lot of time into their covers. These guys were easily the most complimented piece of the whole reception and the dance floor was completely full the entire night. Picking them as our band was the best choice we made bar none in all the wedding planning.

Charity EventThe Excellent Drivers were TRULY EXCELLENT!!!! We hosted a charity event on Saturday 11/7 and these guys came and got everyone on their feet and having a blast. We unfortunately did not have the best weather but the people who showed up were spoiled with an epic evening of rocking for the kids. I highly recommend The Excellent Drivers to anyone looking to have a lot of fun and throw a great event. We are already booking them ourselves for next year!!!!

Birthday PartyWhen the Excellent Drivers played for my 50th birthday this year, they made the party! With popular songs spanning the decades, they had all of the guests on the dance floor. From the spontaneously forming conga line for "This is How We Do It," to the impromptu dance contest for "Uptown Funk," to the slow and sensual grooving during "Let's Get It On," there was something for everyone. Thanks, Excellent Drivers, for making my party one to remember! Hope you will still be around to help me celebrate my 60th in ten years!

Bride & GroomThe Excellent Drivers made our wedding reception unforgettable. These guys were an absolute hit with all of our guests who were dancing the entire night. They had great energy, sounded amazing, and had the perfect mix of classics and current popular songs. They provided all their own equipment, dance floor lighting, a dedicated sound engineer, handled all of the MC announcements, and let us use their mic for speeches and toasts. We traded emails for months leading up to the big day and I always got an immediate response which is the best when trying to plan a wedding. They performed a low key acoustic set during dinner that was upbeat enough to dance to but still let people talk and mingle. After dinner they kicked it up to party mode and had everyone dancing and partying for the rest of the night. We highly recommend these guys for any event. We hope to see them play a show in Richmond again soon!
