Created in 2015, For The Win quickly made a name for themselves as a modern, lit, high energy dance band able to turn any event into a party. The six piece group plays a wide variety of current Top 40, 80’s-2000s chart toppers, club bangers, classic Motown, and even hip hop for clubs, weddings, festivals, private events, corporate events, and everything in between. 


For The Win’s electric stage energy, powerful vocals, harmonies, fast raps, guitar rips, synth magic sauce, and tight rhythm section have landed them headlining venues including Big Night DC on New Years Eve, the Club Room at Seacrets, Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach, as well as residencies at all the local DMV club spots. 


They do it all with smooth transitions and unique medleys to keep the dance floor bumping. Let’s be honest – there are not many bands that start with a song by Taylor Swift, end with Metallica, and throw Sir-Mix-A-Lot in the middle.


The chemistry of this line-up is undeniable and makes them the ideal entertainment choice for any event. #FTW

Wedding

We could not have been more pleased with For The Win at our daughter's wedding. Our guests universally praised the band as the best wedding band they've heard, no exaggeration. Amanda, Bill, Schwartzy were consummate professionals and a true pleasure to deal with. The band's energy is infectious - the dance floor was full from the first song to the last. The soundman also did a tremendous job. We will definitely recommend the band to our friends and look forward to hearing them at their next public performance.

Bride

For the Win was absolutely incredible!! We had the best time. I can’t even begin to count the amount of compliments I’ve received about them from all my friends and family. Their energy was amazing and they were also just so nice and accommodating. I literally don’t think we could have made a better choice. Andrew and I were completely blown away. We keep saying like if there is ONE thing we did right and we would never want to change about our wedding day, it was having For the Win there. I was honestly so hesitant on spending that amount of money on a band, but they were so well worth every penny and I’d do it over and over again with no question. They so far exceeded my expectations. I’m honestly sad how fast the time went by because I could have continued listening and dancing to their music for hours more 😅 I could not say enough great things about them if I tried.

Wedding Planner

OHMYGOODNESS!!!! Saturday went VERY well! People would NOT let the band go! They were supposed to finish their set at 10:00 so we could send off the Bride and Groom. The Father of the Bride asked them to play one more song, they played two! And THEN the crowd was chanting, “One More Song!” and they obliged with the Bride and Groom front and center on chairs! After the final set ended and the guests were clearing out, the Groom said to the Bride, “They were AMAZING! Can we party like this EVERY weekend?!” They loved it! The sound was well balanced and the band was “well behaved” and very professional! :-) When we (planners/photographers/videographers) were on our vendor-dinner-break, the band played “Take On Me”. It was fun watching the faces of the photographers and videographers when the lead singer HIT the high note in that song, not once, not twice, but every time! :-) The band has definitely earned their name… For The Win! Yeah, ya’ll are two for two as far as crowd/client pleasing bands!! :-) I’m looking forward to more in the future!! :-)

Rob and I just wanted to say thank you so much for the amazing job you and the band did at our wedding. Everyone was dancing and having a blast and it's all thanks to you guys!
